Dr David Emvula is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist dedicated to providing the best health care to women of all ages. His goal is to keep women healthy for a lifetime by optimising health, preventing disease, identifying problems and providing a level of care and attention that is both professional and compassionate.
Dr Simon E E Emvula is a specialist obstetrician and gynecologist and a women’s health advocate. He is passionate about providing the best holistic care to all his patients and find travelling the journey of pregnancy with his patient a privilege. He obtained his undergraduate medical degree from the Latin American School of Medicine (Cuba) in 2013.
Ms S.V. Paulus started her career as a nurse in 2010 at Katutura Intermediate Hospital inpatient and joined the private sector at Medi clinic Windhoek Maternity Ward in 2011. She also served at Lady Pohamba Hospital Maternity Ward and Tsumeb State Hospital inpatient before she joined our team OB-GYN Practice in 2023.
Qualifications: Certificate in General Nursing Science/ Midwife (Onandjokwe National Health Training Center). Certificate in HIV management and Counseling ( Namibia Red Cross Society). Certificate in BLS professional Emergency Care ( Resuscitation Council of SA) NUST, Namibia.
Mrs Mandy-Jane is the Practice Manager at OB-GYN Practice, with over five years of working experience in the medical administration field. She joined OB-GYN Practice when it opened its doors in May 2021. She is responsible for all practice administration duties to ensure the practice runs effectively and efficiently. Timely submissions of patient accounts and medical aid remittance forms are part of her duties.
Mandy’s qualifications include: a Diploma of Records & Archives Management, a Bachelor’s Degree of Business & Information Management and an Honours Degree of Human Resources Management. Mandy is a hardworking, trustworthy individual who is always eager to go the extra mile in everything required of her.
Ms. Monika Iyambo is a dedicated Medical Receptionist with a strong background in the medical industry, having served since 2019. She recently joined an OB-GYN practice in May 2025, bringing her expertise and passion for healthcare to her new role.
Beyond her medical career, Ms. Iyambo is a creative force in the performing arts and film industry, excelling as a freelance stage manager and assistant director, with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Drama from the University of Namibia (UNAM).
A passionate advocate for mental health awareness, Ms. Iyambo aspires to be a spokesperson, promoting community outreach programs and support. She believes in creating a balanced approach to mental health, prioritizing both the boy and girl child, and empowering communities to assist those affected directly or indirectly by mental illness, fostering a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
Miss Beverley Sharon Thomas joined Ob-gyn Practice on the 1st of February 2025. She is hardworking, dedicated, reliable and trustworthy.
She is the in-house lady at Ob-gyn Practice. She takes care of the house and general work overall.
Always willing to work and lend a helping hand when necessary.
She helps with filing and answering calls. She makes sure the house is clean and general work is done on time.
